Both bottles, one oil. Cold-pressed organic castor oil at 90% ricinoleic acid, in the 500 mL bottle for hair, scalp, body and nails, and in a 50 mL bottle with a brush applicator for lashes and brows. The high ricinoleic share is what makes the oil thick and slow to absorb, so it stays on the surface and seals moisture in rather than disappearing into it.

- 50 mL brush for everywhere you need control. Lashes, brows, and small dry patches on the face.
How to use
From the 500 mL, warm a few drops between your fingertips and massage into the scalp, smooth over dry skin, or work into nails and cuticles. Leave on overnight or for at least 30 minutes before washing. With the 50 mL brush, at night on clean dry lashes, dip and wipe off the excess, then sweep once along the upper lash line and through the brows. Keep the oil out of your eyes. Patch test before first use.

Is the oil in both bottles the same?
Yes. One oil, bottled in two sizes. The 50 mL has a brush applicator for lashes and brows; the 500 mL is the bottle for hair, scalp, skin and nails.

Is BIOCENTIC castor oil safe to use near the eyes?
Use the 50 mL brush along the lash line, keep it out of the eyes, patch test first, and stop if irritation occurs.
What does 90% ricinoleic acid mean?
It is the share of castor oil's signature fatty acid. Ours tests at 90%, with 3% oleic and 4% linoleic acid. Studies of castor varieties typically report about 83 to 89%.
